Mrs. Rebecca B. Holmes, Executive Director and friend of Mass Appeal passed away from an unexpected and brief illness on Saturday, November 5, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family. We grieve this loss along with her family, friends and community whom she loved.
Rebecca came out of a well-earned retirement to serve Mass Appeal. She came in like a boss and confidently steered the ship.
With Rebecca at the helm, we weathered the pandemic and the complexity of re-opening and due to her tenacity and courage, we avoided an eviction that would have been devastating.
Rebecca's contributions to Mass Appeal were many. She was out faithful director and dear friend - she will be missed.
